The free Reina Valera Bible is the Bible most used by Protestant Christian churches. The name Reina Valera corresponds to a series of revisions of the original Reina Valera published in 1569.
This first version was translated by the religious theologian and Spanish writer Casiodoro de Reina. Cipriano de Valera made his first review, hence his name. It was the first Bible translated into Spanish directly from the original languages of the biblical manuscripts: Hebrew and Greek.
